Trusting... And A Way For You To Get There

It has been an incredible journey for me since I left my non-profit job and started doing intuitive consulting work.  It has evolved from a workplace wellness approach to a new and higher approach of following a path that I now understand has been laid out before me. That path was not clear to me in the beginning, and my ego/thinking mind got in the way at times of what I wanted to be doing or thought I should be doing. I have noticed several things, though:

1) I love interviewing people. It allows them to share their story and allows me to help them elicit the wisdom from that story that can help others in their own lives.  And I have noticed that every single person I have interviewed to date is on the same wavelength.. their messages are all aligned with the larger, encompassing message of a new way, a new consciousness, a new potential for the human race.

2) Most workplaces aren't quite ready for this. It can be tricky to go into a workplace and do a workshop that might end up convincing half the employees that they should quit their jobs and find their true passions.  Of course, that is not my purpose in doing it, but sometimes it happens. And it's the classic Catch-22 problem. I have chosen to focus on people suffering in the workplace (since that was also my experience), but to actually GET IN FRONT of large number of employees, usually the powers-that-be have to approve it. And if people need it so badly in that workplace, you think that powers-that-be will be open to something about metaphysical energy and asking the universe for guidance?  Not yet.  They very well might when they see no other way (or when people keep leaving their companies).  Let me be clear, though, that there are many, many workplaces that ARE open to this. And that is awesome and I believe that the positive energy they are producing will spread (or everyone will leave the old-way behemoth agencies and flock to the innovative start-ups).

(You have probably noticed that part of my approach is to tell it like it is.. no holding back for me!  Smiley-face icon here.)

3) The way I have decided to run my business is based on following blind trust. In order for me to effectively do this work, I have realized (very recently actually) that I don't actually need to work hard.  I don't mean that in a sense that I just sit at home and meditate and hope that things come, no. I mean that I do work, and I work quite a bit, but it feels effortless in a sense. Like there is nothing that I'd rather be doing. My new mantra is that, in almost all cases, if it doesn't FEEL GOOD, I don't do it (or I really try not to). And that is based on the fact that the frequency of our higher self operates at a high one, and to align with that, we need to lift our energy to that positive place (and to get to that positive place, you seek out that warm, whole, balanced, energized, uplifting feeling.  You know the one when you leave a dinner with friends and are walking home and hear an outdoor musician and all is right with the world? Or you just went for a long run along a beautiful river and come home to drink a cold glass of water and feel amazing ? That one.)  So this doesn't mean that I just seek out feeling good all the time, no, instead I try to notice how I'm feeling. If something doesn't feel right, then I know now to listen to that feeling. Sometimes I don't always know how something will turn out.  I will try to stay open to the people and opportunities that come my way.  When we are operating at a level of our true frequency (and not to say I've mastered this by any means), we tend to just attract the things that are meant to be there. This also isn't to say that we should avoid challenges (we may not from an "ego/thinking mind" perspective THINK it feels good, but we usually know deep down it IS good for us, that we are learning something).  Challenges can be important lessons we need to learn.

I do these blog posts mostly because I have to.. I feel this inner urge to get my experience out there in the hopes that others (like you) may see that all of this is also possible for you.  I have a couple of other ways of spreading this message as well. There is individual coaching, which works for people who are looking for in-depth guidance, support, encouragement and motivation in their lives to transform a way of living, break patterns they are tired of dealing with.  Another is now with an online course, which is another version of coaching, but actually has a lot of content (weekly group video guidance sessions with me, videos and guided meditations from me, interviews I've done, and reflective questions for people to answer and apply to their own lives). It is also a way to get to that place of alignment with your higher self, but not with the intense focus and guidance (from me). This online course (8 weeks total) starts this Monday June 6 - there are a few spots left. If you're interested, I highly encourage you to look into it.  I have developed this as something that can change lives.  Not just any old course where you watch a bunch of videos. I want people to experience transformation as I have.  If you're seeking that, I hope you take this opportunity to check it out.

Getting to a better, higher, and aligned place in our lives can take a lot of work in the beginning (depending our your circumstances and how much of a hold that Inner Critic/ego has on you!) but once we start to live in tune with our higher self - and it can take years to get there, everything shifts. Everything is different. Everything has a purpose, everything has beauty. Everything is aligned, every human is worthy of love, affection.  Every person can change and evolve.  Every sad thing touches you deeply. I couldn't imagine it now any other way.
