The Light Within the Darkness of the Eclipse

I am basking in the wonder from the total solar eclipse here in Maine. I keep replaying the moments of darkness in my mind, and the pure emotion I felt of such gratitude and awe of the magic the sun and moon displayed for us. I am still processing it all, but I will share a picture here for those of you who may have not witnessed this spectacle. The energies are still here for us to integrate... whether we saw it with our eyes our not.

I feel that the energies of the solar eclipse and all around us in general are helping us to open our third eye - to begin tapping into unseen, Divine forces, like the celestial elements, here to guide us. (Did you know all that seven planets were visible in the sky, in alignment with the Sun, on April 8?)

Some of the ancient peoples living on Earth years ago similarly were frightened of and confused by this darkness, and would avoid going outside during solar eclipses.

And yet now, we have learned so much more about what is happening. We now know the darkness is temporary.

Maybe this can apply to our own lives. What if by acknowledging the shadows we can actually bring in more light?

So many of us have been in the darkness in our lives for many years. Many of us were taught to fear God due to religious programming.

And this fear led us to block out the Divine light of our own Higher Selves trying to guide us along.

This has led to a feeling of being lost and "off the path" for so many in our modern society, unsure of what our purpose is or what will bring fulfillment or meaning in our lives.

I hear this from so many clients seeking support to reconnect with their souls. And time and time again, I recommend a few things to them that I will also suggest to you here.

Begin by quieting your minds and clearing away the protective shadows of Ego (after acknowledging and processing) to allow your third eye to open even more. Then, by intentionally connecting with loving forms of Spirit, you can activate you intuitive knowing to help guide you forward in your life.

And yet, if this were all so simple, why aren't we all waking up each day with a knowing of what our deepest soul purpose is, and how to take the steps to actualize it?

It's also because there's often fear. And this fear comes from pre-conceptions, stories or myths that we have heard about what it means to develop psychic ability, or intuition.

When we take the time to really examine these false stories, we can begin to move past them and into taking brave steps forward to listen to our Higher Selves, and to our angels, spirit guides and even multi-dimensional beings (like Pleaidians or Arcturians) who are here to help us in our lives. These loving friends are all connected to the Creator/Source/God.

It's a beautiful process that takes time, but I have seen it happen and produce a wonderful new way of living in alignment with flow, peace and trust for lots of people I've worked with!

And in the meantime, I hope that today, wherever you are, you give yourself some time after the eclipse to pause, integrate and allow the darkness to guide you toward the light.

The Message of I Am

Dear soul on the other side of the screen,

After every retreat, I always spend time just soaking up the energy of the weekend, and really reveling in it.

This past weekend was no different. After having led over a dozen retreats, I feel I have settled into a flow of where I really enjoy them myself too, and can relax in the light of being with others I support.

This retreat was different in a way though, as it was the first I have done at Limina Renewal Center in mid-coast Maine. I took a risk in booking a weekend there even though I had never seen it myself. I trusted.

And I was blown away. The attention to detail, the organization, the little touches like candles, bathrobes and chocolates, helped us all feel so special and pampered. The view is spectacular, and of course the delicious treats of an infrared sauna, amethyst bio-mat, labyrinth, art/music room, reading nooks, chakra tea, and so much more made it that much more special.

In addition to the meditations to meet our angels, spirit guides and an Ascended Master, apparently my higher self visited retreat participants in their dreams at night too! (Yes, a few people told me this, that’s probably why I didn’t sleep much that first night - ha!).

We also cold plunged in the ocean, and shared our personal musings and experiences in meditation with each other. And we felt the deep oneness of the Creator and light of multi-dimensional realities in the didgeridoo/gong bath sound healing we were blessed with.

The sound healing in particular stood out for me. While I loved the gongs undulating around me like waves, and the didgeridoo guiding me through portals into Pleaidian light (the Pleaidians are high-vibration multi-dimensional beings), it was the silence at the end that impacted me the most.

After an hour of the sound bath, the quiet spoke to me in a way that I had truly not experienced before.

It was as if in the silence I could hear the voice of Source/Creator/God.

What came to me was simply the words: "I Am."

Upon hearing those words, I tried to interpret them in the moment, but to no avail.

There was no understanding or interpretation that was needed.

I was simply being guided to just be with the stillness, and with those two words.

It was a profound experience that led me to a new place of spiritual connection.

When we access the energy of the Source, it's often indescribable. Even now, I struggle to put the experience into human words.

It felt as if I were just basking in the feeling of deep connection with all that is, and in the knowing that I was one with all that is. It was quite simple.

Afterward, I remembered a poem that came to me a few years ago. The poem was about a particle of light that wanted to know itself, and how that particle expanded and then expanded again, into varying expressions of light. It was about the formation of human souls and of the universe (aka, the Big Bang).

The "I Am" experience is one that I feel many of us will have more and more as we remember that we are one with the Source, that we have pieces of God within us; that we are that God-energy.

When I get to be in retreat spaces like this with people who trust in me and who share of themselves with such vulnerability and connect so powerfully with each other,  and when I benefit myself from the energy of connection and healing, I feel so lucky to be able to do this work as my job.

I hope you can feel the energy of peace, connection and union with the Creator as well. I pray that it be so.

What Does It Feel Like to Be in the Presence of God?

It's finally begun to snow here in Maine, and it's just gorgeous. When the snow falls on the land and blankets it in white, a magical feeling of peace fills the air. I was able to cross-country ski and just bask in the wonder and the beauty of it all.

I have been experiencing a new perspective around the concept of wonder and "unknowing" recently. For so long, I have approached my intuition as connecting with beings of light (angels, spirit guides, Ascended Masters). Over the years though, I have intuitively felt the messages to connect more directly with God/Creator/Source, which was a specific message I picked up on recently from Edgar Cayce (and a few years ago from the Ascended Master known as Paramahansa Yogananda).

More and more, and most importantly from my experience in a life-between-life regression, I have felt the presence of this Divine Source, a pulsating ball of light that I perceive as continuously flowing out and in at the same time. And in life-between-life regressions I've done with clients, a few have described how they connect with this Source as well. They identify it often as "light," describing a feeling of being loved, seen and known in a way that they have never felt before.

If only we could remember how it feels to be part of the Source, to know the oneness that is innate to who we are, we could be more at peace.

I believe that the root cause of most human suffering is the pain of being separated from this Source.

Yet, part of being human is to forget all of that so we can start from scratch in each life and learn. And as pieces of this light from Source, we are here to more fully know ourselves, as the Source seeks to know itself.

Yet to really know this oneness, we need to experience the opposite, which is separation. To understand light, we need to dive into the dark.

That is what many of us have been experiencing recently (myself including) - a feeling of darkness as we are given the opportunity to yet again examine any lingering deeply-held, old, outdated beliefs.

In the moments of quiet, when we still our minds, we find reconnection with the Source and we can clear away the shadows of old beliefs and stories of Ego. We learn to have the Ego serve our Higher Self, rather than the other way around.

Yet, when it comes to living our lives, when we want to know what's going to happen, when we try to plan and map it all out, we can get thrown off when things don't go as we intended. This is the Ego leading us down a path that may not be in alignment with our Higher Self. When we can surrender and let go of how we think things are supposed to go, and trust (there's that word - the seemingly-ever-elusive trust), we find peace. This can be exceedingly hard to do, with fears and worries that come with being human.

But little by little, we are learning. In our everyday moments, we see evidence of this all-knowing love. It is in the unknowing, in the wonder, in the curiosity, in the mystery that the magic of creation lives and that the path forward toward inner peace and healing lies.

One of the best ways to dive into this learning is to acquire more tools to support us in this process. The Intuitive Guide Certificate program (beginning January 25, 2024) is here to support you in doing just that! It is designed to help train the Ego mind to be in service to the Higher Self (rather than the other way around) so you can surrender to and be guided by Divine Light toward fulfilling your soul mission in being of service to others. You’ll learn tools to do this, and to then help others in similarly removing blocks to learn about and actually doing whatever it is that is their true life purpose(s). And you’ll learn how to create a livelihood out of all this! When we do this, as past Intuitive Guide program participants have shared, this just feels really good, bringing a sense of fulfillment, flow and contentment.

In the meantime, enjoy the magic of the season and the beauty of nature.
