Stillness by the Ocean: Weekend Island Women's Retreat

island rocking chair.jpg

You are invited to join us for a weekend women's retreat on Chebeague Island in Maine. This will be a time to completely unplug, rest and simply bask in the ocean breeze and the secluded nature of being on an island in Casco Bay. We will be spending the weekend nourishing our hearts and spirits in a peaceful setting overlooking the ocean. You will also enjoy the opportunity to cleanse your body of toxins with a vegan and mostly raw food menu for the weekend. This is a powerful way to detox the heaviness from processed foods in our lives!

You will find that your soul will be healed and uplifted simply by just sitting on the porch watching the sunset, sitting on the porch watching the waves or just sitting on the porch. :) And time for meditation, quiet walks on the beach (right in front of the house), or just taking naps in the hammock. Or take a 5-minute walk to the other side of the island to another beach. A few bikes are available for bike rides to various island beaches, the local store, farmer's market, Chebeague Island Inn (and restaurant).

The nourishment for the weekend will include whole, vegan, pure, raw meals and juices, to cleanse and purify your body.  Please note that it is recommended to eat whole, unprocessed foods in the weeks leading up to the retreat to prepare your body for a detox and clease. This is an exciting opportunity to experience what it's like to eat mostly raw for a few days and notice the changes in your body!

We will head out to the island on Friday evening August 9th and return Sunday mid-day on Sunday August 11th.

This retreat is designed to be minimalistic but with a few scheduled activities, including:

  • Guided meditations

  • Group past life regression (optional) to experience a previous incarnation and life in the Spirit realm

  • Future self drawing time and writing

  • Silent breakfasts

  • Dedicated time for quiet and inner peace

  • Mindful walking and nature connection

  • Beach mandala and ceremony

  • Aromatouch healing sessions (optional)

  • Angelic light invocation and connection

  • Morning stretching/meditation

  • Writing reflections on facing fears, the Ego voice and the shadow side

  • Whole, pure, vegan, raw meals and juices for a total body, mind and spirit cleanse with Cheryl Horton of Life in the Raw

The intention of this retreat is to get away in a beautiful, serene setting to do some deep, inner work and reflection. With a vegan raw food menu, guided writing, meditation, walks and even past life regression session if you choose, you will likely come away from this weekend feeling transformed and prepared to tackle your life in a new way.

Please note that the house is cozy but is also rustic! This is not a luxury spa, but a log-cabin style home.
