Group Hypnotherapy Class

Group Hypnotherapy.png

Many people have tried a variety of approaches, therapy, yoga or meditation, to help with persistent negative thoughts, fears or harmful patterns in their lives.

When you have tried lots of things, but you find that you still have a nagging, underlying habit or thought pattern that is dragging you down, chances are that there is something buried in the subconscious mind that is holding you back.

Hypnotherapy is one of the most powerful, and effective, ways to clear out the negative thoughts/beliefs/patterns/habits that we just can't seem to shake. When experiences at a young age get sealed into our minds (via the Inner Child), the protective Ego part of our subconscious mind devises ways to keep us safe.

These ways can manifest, over time, as harmful coping mechanisms. And in spite of our good intentions and setting all kinds of goals, until we get to the root of the issue, we will find these habits are still in place. Giving our Ego/subconscious some new tools (through the power of positive suggestion) in hypnotherapy, can be life-changing!

I’m very excited, for the first time ever, to be offering a group hypnotherapy class. This class is designed to be an affordable and accessible way for people seeking to create new, lasting change in their lives at the subconscious level to do just that!

In this class, you will enjoy four hypnotherapy sessions that are specifically tailored, in part, to what you are experiencing in your life.  In addition, you will learn some powerful writing tools to help you further separate from the negative patterns held in your mind.

This class is limited to 8 people to maintain an intimate vibe. Please note that this class is designed to be a safe space for you to share what you are feeling and struggling with in a small group.

Overall, you will:

  • Share what you are deeply experiencing in the form of negative patterns in your life

  • Do some powerful writing tools to release these patterns

  • Participate in four hypnotherapy sessions to create new, positive associations

Frequently Asked Questions about Hypnosis:

What does hypnosis do?

Hypnotherapy feels like a really relaxing guided meditation. Guided imagery and suggestions are used to bring you into a deep state of relaxation and concentration. It is in this state that the conscious mind moves aside so any deep-seated feelings or fears can be accessed by the subconscious. The hypnotherapist then gently uses suggestions to create new positive associations and remove the negative thoughts.

What happens when I am in hypnosis?

Your body feels relaxed and heavy. While you are fully aware of what is happening, you ebb in and out of different states of relaxation. Sometimes I like to describe the state of hypnosis as feeling like the “twilight” time right before you are about to fall asleep. Some people remember everything that occurred during hypnosis, some do not. Everyone is different!

Is this some sort of mind control?

No. You are fully in control at all times. Your subconscious mind will not do anything that it does not already want to do in a conscious state. You can freely move your body if you choose and get up and move around if you like (although you probably will not want to!).

What if I cannot be hypnotized?

Almost everyone can be! We experience light hypnosis all the time – while driving, watching TV, etc.

“Shout out to Rachel Horton White who has helped me lose 7 pounds through hypnotherapy. I’ve waited for this ‘shout out’ until I really felt it was working. And it is. I knew at some level what my problem was but through her help, I’ve managed to NOT eat chips in the evenings, stop having seconds at dinner, and a few other techniques that work. ”
