The Flickering Candle in the Wind

I am returning from a week of vacation and rest, although it did not always feel like it. It's been a crazy ride of ups and downs for me, as we are house-hunting, preparing for homeschooling and navigating some tricky interpersonal dynamics. If you're feeling like it's a lot right now, you're not alone. I finally put together a video (below) as well to share what I feel is happening and how we can get through this.. maybe it will be of service in some way.

Overall, the energies with us now are asking us each to trust and go with the flow. This is much easier said than done! When we allow ourselves to examine what feels blocked, we can begin to forgive ourselves, others and help us move through this time. While staying cautious and respectful to keep us healthy and thriving, we can still question the narrative to preserve our freedoms, even when it means feeling like we are the only one.

Ultimately, this is about us learning to expand into our lightbody as Divine beings, learning to "be" rather than "do," and to operate from a Higher Self-guided perspective of feelings (with the heart) rather than thinking (with the brain). We need both feelings and thinking, but the heart is best as a leader of the brain.

In the Akashic Records, I find a higher perspective that helps to pull me out of the "stuff." When we take the time to go inward, connect with light and Divine guidance (I like angels), clearing old energy, and letting go of the mental programming, we can be healed on an individual level. Vibrationally, our personal healing ripples out into the energy field of the collective, which will help continue our planet into the next 5th dimensional place of a beautiful, loving way. The dark may always be there, but light cannot know itself without the contrast of the dark!

Trust your intuition as to what feels right. It’s not easy being strong in your values and beliefs, but deep down we know what is right. There is very little that is black and white, but a lot of shades of gray. One thing can be true at the same time another thing is true.

Ultimately, we all want to do the right thing, to be happy and to create a world in which we and our children can thrive. We may have different ideas of how to get there, but please decide for yourself, quieting the mind and asking your heart, rather than allowing someone else to tell you how to think. This is our only hope, when we can move past condemning or judging our friends and neighbors.

The energies are here for us to awaken to truth to our Divine essence, yet the (peaceful) revolution will not be televised! When we come from a place of love, we can do no harm. Let's learn to trust, feel and be gentle and kind with ourselves (and with each other). I believe it will be okay in the end. May it be so.

Maybe these words below can help guide us through this time of retrograde energy, full moon, lunar eclipses and lots of triggering and fear...

From the Ancient Ones:
This is a time of great healing, revealing of truth and spiritual expansion. We know that many of you do not understand these energies. You feel a great deal, and it is like a purging of low-vibration emotions, a detox. Allow yourself to purge. Allow yourself to feel. Allow yourself to cleanse. This will be over soon enough.

It is an accumulation of toxins in your lightbodies that are being removed. There is much resistance by some, although the purging is still happening at varying levels. Everyone is moving at the pace that is right for them.

Do not fear the dark ones. They are not in control of your lives. You are. The illusion of control is just that – an illusion. Do not allow your energy to be sucked into their path of destruction. Be kind to others who are in fear. They are doing the best they can.

We are asking you to hold the light, like a flickering candle in the wind. This is showing you how much strength you have. You are a wellspring of eternal bravery. You have been through much pain and trauma as a human collective through many lifetimes. We are here to help you heal.

Yet, you are also asked to choose what beliefs you would like to hold onto and which beliefs you can release. This will be difficult for many as it is a dismantling of the fundamental structure that they feel holds them up, that keeps them alive. It is a re-learning. Give them space and give them your love.

We are here for you, and we send you love and guidance. This is the moment you have been waiting for, and many souls have chosen to be here to assist. If you are reading this, you are one of those souls. We honor and thank you for your service to humanity.

In light, we are all one.

Leaving you with a poem that I love that is important in this time. See if it resonates with you, in particular a few parts. :)

“To laugh is to risk appearing a fool,
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach out to another is to risk involvement,
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.

To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.

To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To live is to risk dying,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live.

Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom.

Only a person who risks is free.”

- William Arthur Ward

May the force be with us all. Because boy do we need it!

In hope and in light…
