The Light Within the Darkness of the Eclipse

I am basking in the wonder from the total solar eclipse here in Maine. I keep replaying the moments of darkness in my mind, and the pure emotion I felt of such gratitude and awe of the magic the sun and moon displayed for us. I am still processing it all, but I will share a picture here for those of you who may have not witnessed this spectacle. The energies are still here for us to integrate... whether we saw it with our eyes our not.

I feel that the energies of the solar eclipse and all around us in general are helping us to open our third eye - to begin tapping into unseen, Divine forces, like the celestial elements, here to guide us. (Did you know all that seven planets were visible in the sky, in alignment with the Sun, on April 8?)

Some of the ancient peoples living on Earth years ago similarly were frightened of and confused by this darkness, and would avoid going outside during solar eclipses.

And yet now, we have learned so much more about what is happening. We now know the darkness is temporary.

Maybe this can apply to our own lives. What if by acknowledging the shadows we can actually bring in more light?

So many of us have been in the darkness in our lives for many years. Many of us were taught to fear God due to religious programming.

And this fear led us to block out the Divine light of our own Higher Selves trying to guide us along.

This has led to a feeling of being lost and "off the path" for so many in our modern society, unsure of what our purpose is or what will bring fulfillment or meaning in our lives.

I hear this from so many clients seeking support to reconnect with their souls. And time and time again, I recommend a few things to them that I will also suggest to you here.

Begin by quieting your minds and clearing away the protective shadows of Ego (after acknowledging and processing) to allow your third eye to open even more. Then, by intentionally connecting with loving forms of Spirit, you can activate you intuitive knowing to help guide you forward in your life.

And yet, if this were all so simple, why aren't we all waking up each day with a knowing of what our deepest soul purpose is, and how to take the steps to actualize it?

It's also because there's often fear. And this fear comes from pre-conceptions, stories or myths that we have heard about what it means to develop psychic ability, or intuition.

When we take the time to really examine these false stories, we can begin to move past them and into taking brave steps forward to listen to our Higher Selves, and to our angels, spirit guides and even multi-dimensional beings (like Pleaidians or Arcturians) who are here to help us in our lives. These loving friends are all connected to the Creator/Source/God.

It's a beautiful process that takes time, but I have seen it happen and produce a wonderful new way of living in alignment with flow, peace and trust for lots of people I've worked with!

And in the meantime, I hope that today, wherever you are, you give yourself some time after the eclipse to pause, integrate and allow the darkness to guide you toward the light.

The Energy of Earth and the Eclipse

Dear human alive in these activation times,

This past week we were in California visiting relatives. The coastline of California is truly stunning... moving amongst redwoods to the ocean crashing against the cliffs is a humbling experience. Even though the trip was busy seeing cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, I took some time to go inward and connect in with the elements of the Earth and her creatures.

We have the opportunity to open our hearts to the Earth in this month of April. The planet Mercury is in retrograde right on the heels of a total solar eclipse passing through much of the United States (including right here in Maine!). With all this powerful soul activation energy, we are being asked to go inward, to reflect and to respect the Earth more deeply than ever before.

I was reminded of this during our trip this past week.

The towering redwood trees (some around for over 2,000 years, here when Jesus walked the Earth!) reminded me of the wise, ancient energy in the rocks of Stonehenge. Their messages to me were that they have seen many things on the planet, and they are grateful that humans are now understanding how to work in harmony with Mother Earth, rather than taking from or harming her.

Then, as we went out to sea near the Channel Islands, hundreds of dolphins swam with our boat, frolicking and whizzing along. They reminded us to find joy in life, and to play.

Yet the most powerful connection I felt was with the whales – first a gray whale migrating to Alaska and then a few humpback whales we followed for a while. As they were under the surface near the boat, I linked in with their hearts. The messages they shared with me were that humans are getting ready to receive the light-codes that the whales and dolphins, as holders of the Akashic Records of the history of Earth, have to offer us. And this upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th will serve as an “upgrade” of sorts, allowing us to embody higher frequencies as we move into elevated states of consciousness. This is a 5th Dimensional guided meditation on accessing our Higher Selves to help us move into expanded states of consciousness, in alignment with the Earth.

If you can make it into the path of totality for the eclipse this coming Monday, I highly encourage you to do so! I was able to see a total solar eclipse in the Wyoming in 2017, and it was surreal. I believe that each time we witness a cosmic event such as these, we are more deeply aligning with our galactic, multi-dimensional selves and with our indigenous ancestors who understood how to align with the stars.

This is truly a magical time we are living in. And, to more deeply attune to the Earth and her creatures, and to the messages they have for you, you may want to check out the Intuition Development 101 Class series (5 classes meeting online starting early May) to fully open your third eye, clear away fear and begin to receive healing information to guide you in any aspect of life.

With blessings to you as always,

Rachel

You Are Loved

I am writing you from my room in an inn on the Maine coast, on a solo weekend retreat. It's been a peaceful time of going on walks, reading, and lots of meditation my Akashic Records.

I needed this time as I have been quite busy recently, seeing lots of clients and supporting people as best I can.

Around this time every winter I (like many Mainers) start to feel a little “blah.” (We try to go somewhere warm every winter to get some sun and warmth, but this time we aren’t going anywhere until early spring.)

It's especially important to look for the good things when things can get a bit monotonous (and just a little reminder that I'm offering an oceanside retreat in Maine in just a few weeks that should offer a beautiful respite!).

Here's a little story for you of an incident that brightened my day recently, reminding me the goodness of others in a powerful way.

Last week, as I was was leaving the grocery store parking lot, I found these flowers with this note tucked under my windshield wipers. It is especially interesting since I had just bought flowers like this for Arran’s homeschool science dissection (and had picked up some early Valentines Day stuff for my crew).

I saw these on the windshield and was confused at first, thinking I had dropped some of the flowers I had just bought there.

And then I saw a note that said "You Are Loved." It brought tears to my eyes. I have been working on being better at receiving… and here this is. A kind person who was leaving messages of love for strangers! And a gift from Spirit for me through this kind person.

I am reminded more and more every day through instances like this of the innate goodness of humans. And even though there are times I get frustrated with the average Homo Sapien, more and more I just love humans for their tender, open hearts too.

We humans are beautiful, complex creatures and we can really hurt each other at times. But deep down, we have a lot of love to give.

I hope you can receive this as a message of hope and love for yourself, especially on this week.

With appreciation and blessings,

Rachel

P.S. If you wanted to share some love too, my book is now on Amazon and, if you have the book and liked it, I would love it if you would share some love with 5-star review for my Tools for the Awakening Soul book on Amazon.! It took me a long time to decide to finally put my book there, but received the guidance that this was a way to reach more people that may want to read it. And that actually feels really good!
