Healing from the Past Few Years... with Spiritual Guidance

Dear ascending one,

It sure is an interesting time to be alive.

In my life, things are quite busy. Just last week, I had a lovely time with many of you in the Intuition Myth-Busting class. It was a new format of just talking with you and answering your questions, and I really enjoyed it (some of the questions really kept me on my toes)! I hope it was helpful for you as well.

Sometimes there are so many things going on in my head that I wonder how I manage to keep track of it all. (One thing that is new are my updated logo colors! Thank you to my gifted friend Erica Pearl for helping me with them.)

To stay centered, every morning I walk out into the woods with my dog, near a stream and stretch, give thanks and invite in light. It is such a grounding practice that keeps me centered and helps me feel that everything is okay.

I have needed to do this practice more than ever in the past 3 1/2 years. These were some of the most difficult for many of us.

Like many of you, I went through phases of disbelief, anger, sadness, shock.... all the stages of grief. I spent a lot of time in the Akashic Records trying to understand what was occurring and how I could be and cope with something that was so bewildering.

Upon reflecting back, I see how much I personally have learned and grown. I have spent a lot of time thinking and talking privately with friends about how to heal and move forward as a collective with such differing opinions at such a high stake as human life. For a while I thought that talking about it and processing it more publicly with a group, even among those who do not feel the same, might help us all. But that approach didn't seem to be right. (Maybe it will someday, I hope.)

I'm honestly not sure of what the path to healing looks like for us humans here on Earth. But I do know that, to me at least, it feels like unconditional love, forgiveness, and compassion for others (and ourselves) and practicing that in as many small moments as possible. This can be difficult to do when we have felt so hurt. And yet, love is the only way out of this - rising above the past and just letting it go. Not waiting for apologies (although offering an apology might be a good idea, even if it's not required) ... just forgiving.

I repeatedly received the guidance to "rise above" in the Akashic Records but at first I didn't understand how to live this way, or what it meant to rise above. I didn't really know what it looked like to let something go in my daily life.

(To help invite in this vibration, I will be doing the free Circle of Light meditation this Wednesday evening, April 24th from 8-8:20 pm on Practicing Unconditional Lovehere on Zoom. Come join!)

But I kept asking, and I would receive bits of guidance, mostly from the Masters/Council of Elders. But I also would hear from Jesus, one of my primary guides, and also from my grandfather and other ancestors helping me navigate family dynamics.

Since then, I have helped many clients heal in this way as well. Some of you similarly may be wondering how to navigate all the energies around you, relationships with others and just the intensity of what feels like is coming at us constantly in the world. (Hint: be careful of how much you read the news!)

If you want to tap into loving forms of higher guidance, but you aren't sure how to connect, you may find it helpful to focus on developing your intuition. There are many ways to do this. Some of these are:

1) meditation to learn to receive Divine information while quieting the conscious mind

2) clear fears/doubts/limiting beliefs with targeted writing exercises, meditations and cognitive approaches

3) learn more about how to align with the vibration of Spirit through light, prayer, intention and yes, even imagination

4) begin to read your own Akashic Records to receive powerful guidance on your soul purpose, life lessons, past lives and even connect with deceased loved ones.

5) learn some quick visualization exercises on how to open your third eye

We will do all of this together in an upcoming 5-week online class I’m offering, called Intuition Development 101.

It’s a class that meets once a week for 2 hours on a Monday evening, live on Zoom. You’ll have a chance to work on writing exercises to tackle the protective Ego, participate in guided meditations to meet various forms of Spirit and even enter your own Akashic Records in the classes.

For this class series, I am happy to offer a "Pay from the Heart" option as a way to make this work more financially accessible to whoever wants to partake. This option is good through this Thursday, April 25th. Please reach out with any questions!

Thank you for walking this journey with me, and for your courage in all that you do each day in your life.

With a deep bow,

Rachel

Accessing the Space of No Thought

Dear soul braving the elements as I am,

I hope that this finds you warm and cozy where you are. Here in Maine, we have been hunkering down in some cold for the past few days. Whenever I get a chance, I go outside to soak up those beautiful rays of sun, as we did with some friends while cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on a frozen lake the other day.

I have been busy with client sessions, booking out a month in advance these days. It's truly a blessing to be able to support courageous people diving in deep to their inner healing. (Some of you may not know that I receive hypnotherapy regularly myself!)

Each morning I take time to quiet my mind, to connect in with Source energy, the light of All That Is.

This really sets the tone for my day. I highly recommend doing this as a practice.

With this time for stillness, after a few breaths and clearing out of thoughts, we are able settle into openness, into the white space of no thought. In this quiet is consciousness, expansiveness and possibility. We are reuniting with the oneness, the indescribable feeling that everything has been and will always be okay. It's so powerful. Here is a 10-Minute Light meditation that is a version of what I do most mornings and that you might enjoy as well.

This can be especially important when we are finding it hard to get out of the doldrums of winter.

Maybe you're not feeling super optimistic or motivated by much these days.

Sometimes it takes a change of scenery to inspire us and bring in a higher vibration of flow and love.

And, it’s one thing to take some minutes in the morning to go inward. It’s absolutely beneficial, and yet it’s also easy to get distracted. And, if you’re not used to it, it may not feel that deep all the time.

That’s one of the reasons I’m offering this oceanside retreat in Maine. I’m going to help a small group go deep and learn how to better and more reliably access Divine guidance. It’s happening in just a few weeks, away from the distractions of your life, surrounded by beauty, where it’s easy to go deep. In this space of beauty and stillness, it is much easier to connect with the state of "no thought" to connect with the energy of oneness. You'll receive tools to take home so you can integrate new habits into your daily life.

I look forward to seeing you there if this is calling to you! Otherwise, I encourage you to just carve out time for stillness every day (going outdoors too when you can).

In the spirit of quiet,

Rachel

P.S. If you can't make the retreat, you can still learn some ways to access altered states of consciousness in an online Akashic Records workshop I'm offering next week, on the evening of February 28th.

P.P.S. If you have my recent book and liked it, it would be truly awesome if you wanted to share some love with a 5-star review for the Tools for the Awakening Soul book on Amazon.

New Year's Visualizations (That Seem to Work!)

Dear one who renews,

As we enter 2024 in just a few minutes (well, maybe we already have, depending on when you read this), I have a few reflections to share with you.

The last week of my December was filled with celebrations with family and then a quiet day in a seaside Maine town with my family of four for ice skating, checking out local shops and treating ourselves to a wonderful dinner.

In a recent intuitive reading I received myself (gifted from my sister), the message from my guides was to receive as I much as I give. It was a powerful reminder to consciously remind myself to stop, and rest (more yin energy versus the outward yang).

So today, as I enter the second day of my 46th year in this body, I receive these beautiful roses from my husband, this scarf from my mother-in-law, and these earrings my son made me (in the photo above).

My intention for the upcoming year is also to rest more, to take care of myself more (in solitude, massages, walks in the woods) so that I may continue to be a vessel of light for others, especially my children.

I also took some time to set intentions today for the upcoming year. But I did more than just set intentions. After accounting for what I was proud of and what I had learned (where I could have done better). I focused on what I wanted to let go of. I visualized where the energy of any stuck, old stories or energy was held in my body. I then took some time to connect with that vibration, really feel into it, and then to release it. I replaced the old energy with a positive image, either of light or some other high vibration image (or in a few cases, a beautiful sprouting plant or a wave of color appeared).

After I released some stuff, I wrote down some ideas for how I could create a new reality in those specific situations, and also some additional dreams I had for the next year. I pictured myself doing things differently in my daily life (engaging in a new habit, having different conversations with people, etc).

The power of visualization is very, very strong!

When we take the time to imagine ourselves in a future reality, down to the details of what we are doing and saying in an average day, we are co-creating that reality and placing the vibration of it into our Akashic field of future timelines. It's a very real Divine Law.

I recommend that you do the same, if you're so inclined.

Here's a few powerful ways to reset and recalibrate and refresh for the New Year.

  • What are you proud of? What have you accomplished that can celebrate? We often focus on the negative, so re-training our brains to notice the positive comes by noticing the good!

  • What have you learned? What didn't go so well that you might want to make different choices around next time?

  • What do you want to release? This might be a conflict with another person, a negative habit or pattern of behavior you have fallen into. Think about something that you have been holding onto (a grudge, a story, a limiting belief). When you bring it to mind, how does it make you feel? If not so good, it’s not a vibrational match for the highest version of who you are. Let it go. It can be hard to do this… as our egos can get quite attached. You can still be safe and protected by letting this go. But what might be possible for you when you do?

  • Visualize the energy of what needs to be released in your body. Where is it? What color/shape/temperature? Spend time understanding where it comes from and what its message is. Then see if some of it can be released - sucked, drained out of your body. Replace what was once there with light, or another loving image that floats in, reclaiming your energy and releasing the old.

  • What do you want to create in your life this next year? This might be a new habit/behavior/way of being that is specifically the opposite of what you released, or maybe it's a larger goal/dream.

  • Take time to see yourself living this way. Who are you talking to about it? What are you doing? What does it feel like? Really immerse yourself in the vision to place in firmly into the quantum realm of your Akashic Records.

You will likely notice a shifting after doing this, maybe even after a few minutes.

Wishing you each all the blessings of unconditional love for you in 2024. Thank you each for being here with me all along, for your support, love and kindness.

Happy New Year’s,

Rachel
